We begin the week with the Moon in Pisces, which builds poems around our heart. We are ending a lunar cycle now, and it is time to reflect on all that has come and gone these past few weeks. Integration is key to growth, or so they say (I am no expert, just here with the rest of you). Imagine what can happen if we learn to move in rhythm with these lunar cycles, the opening and shutting of the psyche in tune with the breath of cosmos. I’m interested in this experiment.

.

This morning in the small hours, the Moon squares off with Mercury, bringing tension and pressure to our sense of communication. Words may falter today, or be bent or broken in dream. Be mindful of the mantra you wake with, and don’t let it become a weapon of self-harm.

.

The Moon today sextile Venus and conjuncts Neptune, and these aspects are gorgeous, lush, and full of romantic possibility. Opportunities to connect with loved ones, crushes, fantasy realms, or even just with your own body for healing are possible today. Gemini season makes us all live in our heads. Venus is still in Taurus, my loves. Don’t forget about the flowers of your body.

.

This afternoon the Moon strikes a sparkling sextile to Saturn, planet of self-mastery, and we are asked to keep building our own momentum. Saturn wants to see you achieve everything you’re dreaming of, but asks you to put in the labor before you’re rewarded. Energy from this aspect today encourages you to push forward.

.

The Moon will square off with Jupiter at 5:54 tonight, and we may feel our confidence lapse a bit, as the planet of abundance forms a difficult aspect to the luminary of our feelings. Associate with people who make you feel Jupiterian and warm, and try to remember that this energy is passing, and that the situation is likely less grave than you are imagining.

.

At 9:21pm, the Moon sextiles Pluto, planet of revolution, and then goes void-of-course. Connect with your shadow self tonight, there is something there waiting for you. Excavating these layers of self brings richness and powerful insight at this time. But don’t put pressure on yourself to do too much with that information. When the moon is void-of-course, decisions we arrive at are less likely to stick. Practice the simple art of observation. Listen for your own echo. It is dark, but so worth seeking.
